Welcome metalheads! It’s Hump Day Metal Day once again and we’re starting off with something new from the first ever band we reviewed! My how the time flies!
So The Scribblers are coming up on our one year anniversary very soon and in all honesty I had nearly forgotten because it seems like much longer. Luckily while I was off last week the guys from Vulgate reached out to let us know they had a brand spankin’ new single out! This reminded me that we’re nearly to our 1 year anniversary since Vulgate was the subject of our very first review! Time flies when you’re having fun and not really paying attention to it. I can say The Scribblers had not forgotten how much we loved that debut Ep from Vulgate and it seems the band has been busy. They will be releasing their debut full length later this year (no release date as of yet) called Waves and the first single from the release is the ominous sounding, The One Who Knocks. Enjoy this progressive thrash/death gem as we look forward to having a full album to review from this awesome new band soon!
Again there isn’t an official release date for Waves yet but you can download this new single and their self titled Ep from bandcamp. These are “name your price” so please be as generous as you can to a well deserving up & coming metal band. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter as well to stay up to date with all the latest news. Also I found a decent recording of The One Who Knocks live so check that out as well…
