Thank You Horror & Metal Fans! We just had the biggest week our little site has ever had with over 2000 visitors! That's pretty damn amazing to us! So thanks to all of you who came for the first time or came back again. Here's what you visited us for...
Wow! I don't even know what to say right now. We've been a pretty steady ship around here for several months with generally 1300-1500 visitors/week so when I saw this week's numbers I was literally blown away! As of this writing we've had about 2000 visitors! We also had our biggest single day (at least to my memory) this past Hump Day Metal Day with over 400 visitors that day alone! We know that's pretty small fry compared to bigger and better websites but for us it's freakin' huge! We really can't thank you all enough and we hope you enjoy what we do enough to keep coming back week after week. A lot of hours go into creating our content, posting it and then getting it out through our social media as well as plenty more behind the scenes that no one sees. Again I can't thank everyone who has visited our little site enough and the only way we can really thank you is to keep putting out our best efforts in all we do. We have a lot of fun things planned in the near future so we hope 2016 just keeps getting better and better. If you like what we do here please share with your friends whether it's through social media or just by saying, "Hey, Check this shit out!" Cult and I have some things in mind to continue growing as we will be trying some new things to branch out even further. We're glad you've visited and hope we can be interesting enough to keep you coming back for more. So with all that out of the way let's get to the fun stuff that y'all came here to see and maybe some stuff you missed! As always the real question is... which Scribbler kicked the most arse this week? With over 2000 visitors and nearly 20,000 page views there was bound to be one that stood out above the rest, right? Read on and find out!
Once again for the record all posts receive the same promo from me through our social media, all extra promo is done from the labels and PR firms that send us promo materials, the bands and film makers we review and hopefully some of you who are fans of what we do. So with that said, taking it by one single "Like," here was the top Scribble of the Week!
Two in a row to start 2016, Feind is one a streak! I'd like to say a huge thank you to the bands who helped spread this one around especially At The Graves who were happy to be reviewed without asking us. I look forward to more from them in the future. Also a quick little aside one of my new favorite albums was by Sons of Providence this week who coincidentally happened to be playing here in Tucson Friday evening at The Bashful Bandit and The Scribblers were in attendance though due to his grueling work schedule Cult had to duck out a bit early (you missed an excellent performance my friend!). I'll have more on that later in the week you can be sure. I was able to meet all the band members and have a decent discussion with them as well. Very cool guys that I hope to see again!
Cult and Feind reviewed an incredible 44 albums this week! Be sure to check #HumpDayMetalDay on Facebook and Twitter for bonus material all day long!
Thank you to everyone who checked us out this week, hopefully you like what you saw so tell a friend or two or ten, the more the merrier as they say! If you're new here take some time and look around and for those who visit regularly we'll have more coming your way next week as usual. Have a great weekend everyone. On behalf of The Scribbler Crew... FEIND OUT!
