Enjoy all we did last week!
Welcome horror & metal fans! Feind is a little late with this but hey, it was a long week and over the weekend I had some writing to do so here we are…
Enjoy all we did last week!
Well horror & metal fans I’m a little late with last week’s Rewind but hey, no big whoop! After a week of being unable to really write, but able to do an enormous amount of thinking (driving 25 hours straight tends to do that!), Feind was back and the Scribbler Crew had tons of horror to share and while Feind’s efforts were far less than normal Cult picked up the slack with some massive metal posts. A little sidenote Feind’s roadtrip landed him in Denver, CO for a night where I met up with my nephew then our good friend Jimmy Lee Combs director of the awesome Hans Crippleton: Talk To The Hans. Mr Combs shared some of what he’s working on at present as well as the official release date for The Hans which will be November 17th (pre-order at Amazon) but fret not horror fans Hans is available right now via iTunes so enjoy that this Halloween! This wonderfully wicked Halloween week I set a couple of tasks for The Scribbler Crew which no one was under any obligation to do but everyone seems to be on board. First, I asked each of The Scribblers to come up with a Halloween Trilogy of Horror for your viewing pleasure and then I tasked everyone with a little creative writing project which should make for some horrifying Halloween reading for everyone out there. But that’s coming up soon so the big question is who had the most popular Scribble of the Week. We had about 1300 visitors last week viewing over 9500 posts which we think is pretty awesome! The Scribble of the Week title has been shifting around nicely with everyone pretty much getting a turn in the spotlight so who nailed it last week? Read on…
Again until we do some upgrades all I have to go by is how many of you “Like” our posts on Facebook or Tweet them out. I don’t yet have a way to count Retweets without spending hours scrolling through our notifications so until days become the appropriate 36 hours long I do the best I can to see what is popular for us. So this week’s winner is… TDBS co-founder CULT!
Feind ended up a finalist in Dark Chapter Press' September Flash Fiction Contest but alas The Scribblers lost out to our friend Mark Cassell. Congratulations Mark! You can read his winning horror tale, Dead Lines, HERE.
So that was all we had to offer for last week. Stay tuned all this week for The Scribbler Crew's celebration of Halloween. We'll have tons of horror movie suggestions as well as some creepy originals to keep you up at night!

Feind created this page to bring you random Scribbles about new music, TV, writing or whatever happens to be on my minds.
