Welcome Scribbler Metalheads to another fun filled, headbangin Hump Day Metal Day! Old Man Feind stayed busy so there's a ton to share with you as we kick off the officially unofficial March Is Metal Month...
Ok one last one for this week Scribbler Metalheads. It seems Profound Lore Records just find some of the best talent out there right now which is pretty amazing since it's essentially a one-man operation. There are a couple in my Best of the Best that is still to come but another one that very nearly made the Top 15 was Chicago's The Atlas Moth.
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads! Seems Old Man Feind has one on his list that hasn't gotten nearly the love it deserves. I think I've only seen this one on maybe one or two year end lists so far and that's a damn shame because not only is it damn good but to me it's Ringworm's best album to date.
Welcome again Scribbler Metalheads! Old Man Feind has another favorite and a best of the year for you! Obviously Cannibal Corpse is a Feind and Scribbler fav and this year they just kept chugging along with another great album!
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads! Old Man Feind finally got off his ass and is getting to work. I thought to start I'd bring one of my all time favorite bands in Crowbar. They put out one of their best albums this year so get sucked into the sludge!
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads! Yes, I know it's been a slow day from Old Man Feind today but hey, that's life. 2014 was one helluva year for death metal fans in varying styles from Cult favorite Misery Index to Feind favorite Cannibal Corpse but then there was a slice of awesome from the Belgian death masters Aborted!
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads and music fans! Once again Old Man Feind has scoured through the mountain of absolute garbage, walked through miles of mediocrity to find just the scattered gold flakes shining through the detritus. New band The Order of Israfel were definitely one of the most lustrous of those gold flakes in 2014.
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads! Before Old Man Feind laments a shitty weekend I thought I'd bring you some more awesome metal from this year. Eyehategod released their first new album in 14 years and while I wasn't much of a fan prior to this album I did like this release very much. The NOLA stalwarts showed that they still kickass after all these years.
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads! Old Man Feind is a bit rushed today so this may be the last one for today but it's Killer! Not all "supergroups" are created equal and Killer Be Killed certainly stands out.
Welcome Scribbler Metalheads! It's Friday and Old Man Feind still has a ton of the Best of 2014 to get to. I'll start off with a band that mixes a little of everything to give you something completely awesome! No matter what you're into you're sure to find something to like from Enabler!
Feind created this page to bring you random Scribbles about new music, TV, writing or whatever happens to be on my minds.
