Did I hate it with a greater passion than I had for it the last time? Did it make me scramble around in hopes to find a sharp implement with which to pluck my eyeballs out? Or did my television just up and quit under protest of having to continuously project utter crap from it's innards?
Another thing I instantly recognize is this movie's resemblance to another in relation to its choice of deliverance (Nope, stop it! Stop...squealing like a pig, boy!) of the zombie virus, in part anyhow. Let me explain, it's transference to transformation seems more in the vein of Street Trash, the (product's) delivery strongly reminds me of scenes from Return of the Living Dead (no need to mention that it's an absolute Cult, pun intended, gem but I just did!)
Spoilers abound so far. Congratulations Cult you may have already spoiled this movie.
Without giving out many more spoilers (perhaps one or two) the rest of the movie picks up and reaches an impressive pace, with only the over usage of (IMO rather annoying and tediously long) hallucinogenic scenes that serve to drag it down, giving it a mondo edge of sorts. However there was one scene of these that made me chuckle, a little humor amongst the many 'trippy' and near headache inducing camera effects, whereupon a character pulls objects from a cadaver's innards thinking they are “something” when in fact they aren't (I kept that intentionally vague).
Towards the tail end of the movie I was amused to discover that one character actually reminded me, in appearance, of a popular female Comic, namely Amy Schumer. I'm interested to see if anyone else feels the same way but I digress with an observation, onwards...
for this is a stunning example of the B genre
