Missing My Metal While On R&R
- Feind Gottes
Hello Scribbler fans if we have any (my apologies for how pathetic that sounds). I felt an itch for some metal today so I thought I’d share a little something that is one of my absolute favorites though many of you have probably never heard of it. I spent the past weekend with some old friends at our annual “retreat” ,if you will, where we pretty much forget the outside world exists for a few days while we drink and occasionally play a game or build a fire. It was some much needed R&R but there was one thing lacking… METAL. Unfortunately my little MP3 player decided to completely die on the way there and I have been unable to revive the little bastard. Since the friends I was meeting up with think Hollywood Undead is metal (BARF!) you can see that musically the trip sucked for me. So for the last couple days I’ve been blasting it and trying to decide what I wanted to share with all of you. Obviously there is a ton I could but bigger bands don’t need as much love and I thought I’d take a little opportunity to share a genre that I’ve gravitated to hard over the last few years that I know isn’t really Cult’s cup of tea (see that Brit reference there Cult? HAHAHA)
