Welcome metalheads! It’s Hump Day Metal Day once again and there’s no better way to kick off the day than with one of the best new bands on the planet. Start howling it’s time to run with the Eternal Wolves!
I’ve spoken pretty highly of Secrets of the Sky for quite some time now and as of yesterday you can get their new album Pathway (you did pre-order it right?!). Late last week a full stream was made available but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get to it in time (I heard about half of it) as I had planned but hey, life sucks and I plan on getting my copy as soon as possible. Pathway to my understanding has actually been complete for some time but SotS were first weighing label offers before signing with one of metal’s eldest labels, the always excellent Metal Blade Records, who then had to set a release date that fit in their slate. In the end the band has been sitting on their full length debut for about a year (this really isn’t that uncommon) which may or may not have led to some further tweaking or additions to what appears to be one fucking excellent album. To celebrate the album launch (Finally!) the band also dropped their second vid for Eternal Wolves which is another excellent track to entice you to buy your copy. My favorite is still Three Swords but I have yet to hear a few of the songs. While I ended up not having the time to listen to the full album while it was available I was able to hear about half of it and there are no stinkers here that I can tell. So enjoy Eternal Wolves then scroll down to order your copy of Pathway.
Again Pathway was unleashed on the world yesterday (5/19) and can be purchased at your local record store if you have one or through Metal Blade Records. As always follow the band on Facebook and Twitter to stay up on the latest news and the massive amount of tour dates I’m sure will be coming.
