Welcome Horror & Metal fans! Hopefully enjoyed their Halloween celebration whether you have wee ones you took trick or treating, went to a costume party or stayed home, turned out the lights and marathoned some horror flicks or any combination thereof! We tried to make it a special week for Halloween so take a look at all we did in case you missed it!
Hopefully everyone survived the most evil night of the year. We tried to have a little fun here last week with our Halloween movie suggestions and a little writing project just for Halloween. Hopefully you visited us last week to take in all our movie suggestions but if you were busy or just new here our suggestions can be viewed at any time. It's always Halloween for horror fans! I'm also extremely proud of all the Scribblers who wrote something a little special for the project I sent to everyone. It always amazes me how much we all have in common yet when it comes to being creative we all have our own unique imaginations and ways of being creative. In case you missed any of it, a few weeks ago I (Feind) woke out of a dead sleep with the line "On The Dark Side Of The Street" spinning around my head. Instead of just using it for something myself I put out a task to all the Scribblers to write something original with the only rule being that the line "on the dark side of the street" be included in the work somewhere whether it was an opening, closing or somewhere in between. I'm very proud of the diversity of creativity we were able to share with all of you. I think I may have struggled with it the most but in the end I'm proud of what I created as well as the creations from Cult, Kevin and Christopher. Creative writing isn't really Kieran's forte so he sat this one out but perhaps he'll enter that arena at a later date. It made for a fun week for me getting to read everyone's work first. Also Cult & Feind will have an exciting little announcement later this week for all of you interested in our horror-ible Scribbles! But I'll get to that once it's fully public knowledge. We covered all horror last week so we'll have a ton of metal to share this week plus a little horror as well. I know Cult has been busy putting a ton of album reviews together and Feind has about 30 albums to write up so it's gonna be a busy week. Now for the all important Scribble of the Week! Again we had around 1300 visitors last week viewing over 10,000 posts which makes us extremely happy. It was a very tight race for the Scribble of the Week but I couldn't be prouder of the winner since it was my personal favorite. And the winner is...
I can't speak for all The Scribbler Crew but this was my personal favorite from last week so I'm very happy it took the week. Our winner of Halloween Week goes to... KEVIN!
Congratulations Kevin it's well deserved! Excellent poem!
The rest of the week is pretty simple. Check out all of our Halloween Trilogies of Horror and a special look at Crimson Peak then take a look at everyone's creative work for our special Halloween project.
You can look forward to plenty of Horror and Metal all week. Between Cult and Feind we've probably got about 50 albums to give you our opinions on this week so look forward to that as well as some tasty horror selections sprinkled in along the way plus a special announcement from Cult & Feind! Stay tuned!

Feind created this page to bring you random Scribbles about new music, TV, writing or whatever happens to be on my minds.
