Old Man Feind is about to spread his wings and share more of what I love with more people. Thanks to one of my favorite sites for all things Doom, this week I will begin contributing to Doommantia.com!
I've expressed my love for doom metal a few times here so that's no shocker so when I saw Doommantia was looking for contributors I immediately contacted them. Well I heard back from them this morning and I'll begin contributing to their site this week as soon as I write something of course. I've been checking in on Doommantia for a long time for new doom and now it's time to give back to them as much as I can. No worry I will still be doing all I do here just expanding my horizons and taking the opportunity to give back to those that have given me so much! Thank you Doommantia I'll try not to disappoint.
Doom metal is something I am a bit passionate about because it's the main thing I listen to when I write. There's just something about it that sets my brain on fire and gets the ideas flowing. I consider it a great honor to be able to give back in any way I can. I still have to decide what I'm going to write about for my first contribution to Doommantia but I'll think of something. I'm a bit excited to get started but to give you all an idea of what to expect here is some of the music that I listen to most often while I'm writing. It should give you some idea what to expect from me as I begin to contribute and hopefully bring some fans over here to share in all Cult & I do. This is gonna be fun!
A few of my writing favorites...

And of course
So there you have it or at least some of it. I'll keep everyone informed with links to anything I contribute at Doommantia. If you love doom, sludge and stoner rock like I do you should already be checking them out on the regular. Feel free to share your favorite doom with me in the comments below!
