Welcome metalheads! Sometimes people actually look at what we do here. I know it surprises me every time but I can tell who actually read something and who is just trying to get some free promo without actually looking at what we like. With that in mind this one was a pleasant surprise…
So Old Man Feind was having a frantic crappy day this past Monday. I woke up to a dead phone and not dead like I forgot to charge the damn thing I mean it was fully charged and just went kaput for no apparent reason. This was one shitty fucking way to start the week on top of everything else going on in my life presently so I just wanted to fucking scream. Fortunately sometimes with the bad also comes the good. After about pulling my hair out going insane I signed into our Facebook page to see what was new and surprise someone had reached out to us! It seems my review of Alkaloid’s new album caught the attention of one of the guitarists from new band Shattered. They are soon to unleash their debut album, New Atlantis, and forwarded a preview of their song Bipolar Disorder. This is some seriously excellent tech-death so if you liked Alkaloid or Abysmal Dawn or Hour of Penance among others I think you’ll dig this one. I’m looking forward to hearing the album and hopefully this wets your appetite too.
I was unable to find a release date for Shattered’s debut New Atlantis but as soon as I have a release date and order info I will provide that to everyone. If this interested you as much as it did me follow them on Facebook to stay in the loop on all their latest news. There are also a couple early reviews for the album on their page you may want to check out if this peaked your interest.
