Welcome horror fans! Old Man Feind received word on this awesome Indie Horror Project on Twitter and it intrigued me so I’m calling out to you horror fans to help out once again. Share this with friends and help get this project funded!
I received this via Twitter the other day and I found it very intriguing. Aside from just supporting what looks to be an excellent Indie Horror film what caught my interest was the other part of this, the artist collective being set up called Reel Artists Collective. They are attempting to create a space outside of the typical Hollywood studio system for artists to collaborate and create. The first project of this is the film Safe starring Teresa Castillo and an old favorite of mine Alison Arngrim who you’ll recognize (if you’re an old fart like me) as Nellie from Little House on the Prairie. That show was on in my house every week folks. This one isn’t just about helping get a fresh original film made, it’s about supporting artists which is an added bonus. Take a look at “the pitch” video below hosted by none other than the aforementioned Alison Arngrim.
Hopefully by now you’re sold on this one. Visit the Indigogo page to donate then follow them on Facebook and Twitter to help further spread the word about this project. Thank you to Dallas James for bringing this one to my attention.
