Below are some series that I found myself glued to.
Great production, fantastic fight scenes, intriguing wel written storylines (all apart from episode eight which sucked more than a rotting quadraped's genitals) and a British blonde kept me enrapt for a full hour each week. Sadly it was cancelled only after nine episodes leaving the fans precariously balanced on a cliff's edge with a continuous story that wasn't wrapped up in any way. Bastids!
Plenty of well produced gun battles, lots of flashy 'baddies', nefarious inner workings of the Cia and the FBI and intriguing storylines keep me coming back.
Chances are if you live under a rock you've probably heard of this and quite like it too.
His character's interaction with others (his flamboyantly gay son and work partners) and his middle finger raised to political correctness had me returning week after week. Probably one of my all time favorite 'cop dramas' on account of the strong writing (based on a book series by Swedish criminologist/novelist Leif G.W. Persson) and dark humor content. Another example of a fantastic fresh series that got 'canned' way too soon. Here's hoping a cable network picks it up and gives it the attention it so rightly deserves.
I could scream and give up on television series altogether and I would if it wasn't for...
In essence this is everything I hoped it would be and then some. Bursting at the seams with wicked deadites, Bruce-isms and vividly explosive splatter rivaling scenes from the movie franchise itself this series is to put it bluntly “the shit”. Though the episodes are in my opinion way too short despite that they are admittedly a brief respite from normalcy that I would gladly suffer one hundred and sixty seven and a half hours of in order to stay up to date on.
Suffice it to say the writing is brilliant, the acting is top notch and the action is thick, sick and dripping in pitch dark bloody humor.
Hail the Raimi brothers and long live the King.
