Directed by Freddie Hutton-Mills & Bart Ruspoli
A small group of documentary film makers, led by a BAFTA award winning director finding his first work in eighteen months due to a CGI stunt including Hadrian's Wall, arrive at the scene of WWI's most infamous killing ground (the Somme) only to discover something they believed only capable in the movies. Is a curse responsible, did an earlier local try to warn them off or are the crew having hallucinations due to the effects of an unburied German Mustard gas canister? WWD RotF starts out strong. Characters are introduced effectively through humor, intriguing back and forth jibes and off handed comments. It becomes obvious that certain members of the group have worked alongside each other in the past.
