Directed by Charles Band & William Butler
This time my daughter picked this out for my viewing pleasure, we watched it together I honestly think I laughed more at her reactions to certain scenes than I laughed due to the movie itself.
Full Moon Productions is famous for producing fare such as this, even going so far back as the original Puppet Master (*Feind Note: one of my favorites) movie in 1989 which at the time I rather enjoyed, I only wish I could say the same about this.
GM3 is rather predictable and relies heavily on gags pulled from movies around the time in which it’s based. Most notably Porky's and Carrie (1976). Strange then that Porkys was paid homage to as it wasn't released ‘til 1982.
The first ten minutes pulls you in with some very likable parody scenes pulled directly from Silence of the Lambs, going even as far as having a pastry type character throwing crème at the young FBI profiler saying, “I can smell your muffin.” Admittedly, I chuckled at this and the Gingerdead guys portrayal of Hannibal “The Cannibal” Lector.
View this if you have nothing better to do, just don't go expecting any redeeming nudity, only teases, it does however, have Gingerbread Full Frontal Nudity if that happens to “rock your boat”.
Enter GM3 at your own risk…
