into TromaVille, and he's a little peckish…
(2006 – Troma Entertainment)
Directed by Lloyd Kaufman
He also recently stated that he didn't know of many people that have actually made it all the way through, now this sounded very much like he had just thrown down a gauntlet, a challenge of sorts to test my resolve (for I truly believe our interactions as of late have been a tad unjustified, shit! He thinks I have the musical tastes and viewing habits of an eleven year old girl!) So I really had no choice but to accept this challenge. *Give yourself a little credit Cult, you have the taste a 12 year old girl jeez! – Feind
As with most of my 'B' fare viewings I didn't search out any reviews for P-NotCD (again with the Asian cuisine sounding abreviations, what gives?) I figure, at this point, if I don't like something I can easily turn it off (or review it as hardly worthy of a listen / peek IMO *Or you can quit whining like the aforementioned 12 yr old girl! - Feind) rather than miss out by not giving it a chance based on someone else's opinion, which usually isn't similar to mine in the slightest.
Well, I found this movie to be deplorable, disgusting, vile and unforgivingly vulgar. It proudly displays absolutely no socially redeeming values whatsoever, but with all that being said... I loved every goddamn minute! Needless to say I believe this deserves more than the usual blurb that both Feind and I endow upon a typical B.
Hummus (again a clever play on words!) is another employee in the 'American Chicken Bunker', dressed in traditional Muslim (hope I got that right, no death threats please *No, go ahead I do it all the time. - Feind) garb, she becomes the constant brunt of everyone's suspicions and ire as events unfold swiftly towards a crimson tinged feather blanketed climax
In conclusion, for I really should bring this to a close lest I find myself 'waffling on' (more than I'm guilty of already *Feind puts fingers in ears, lalalala can’t hear you! Yes, again like the twice mentioned 12 yr old girl telling us about her favorite dolly. HAHAHA) for page after page, after page, which trust me I would have no difficulties in doing for P:NotCD has numerous scenes worthy of more than just the slightest of mention.
Have no doubts this is a “barn-burner” of a B movie, a film people will mention for years to come, a chunk of cult celluloid that artists will aspire to attain the heights of, if only to raise the bar in “Gross out” effects, and to set new records for the amount of gastric fluids used in a feature film. IMO this is a movie a “genre fan” should be proud to own. When I get a chance I'll be begging someone (that has money, for I'm a broke ass SOB) to find me a copy.
Feind, another Troma movie if you please, I'm enjoying these more than I thought I ever would. Suggestions anyone?
